Offered for free Offered for free - IBM electric typewriter

IBM electric typewriter. This was working when it was put into storage in about 1992 but now seems to need some attention.

It was a jolly good machine in its day - it seems a great shame just to dump it as scrap. We have a photocopy of the user manual (for what that's worth).

Can anyone think of any good use for it - as material for people to work on who are learning to repair machines of any sort? ...? ...?
